I was honored to participate in this event at Wirtz Elementary School in Paramount, CA. The art program has been cut down. Mr. Erik Caruso came up with this event to bring art back into his students’ education. The participating artists showed students their art pieces for inspiration, for reference as students created their own pieces. The top three students per each art theme were rewarded with art pieces from the artists. A huge thank you to, fifth grade teacher, Erik Caruso, for all his hard work and coordination. I was also so happy to see how great students’ pieces were. Keep up your good work!

LA郡パラマウント市にありますWirtz(ワーツ)小学校のアートイベントに招待いただき大変貴重な体験をさせていただきました。五年生をうけもつエリック・カルーゾ先生のご好意とプロジェクト運営にいたっては大変感謝しております。実は、本小学校は予算の関係でアートの授業が縮小されてしまいました。そんな中カルーゾ先生は生徒達にアートを体験してもらいたくこのイベントを考案しました。生徒達は参加アーティストによって提示されたアートを見て自分たちの作品を創ります。各アーティストのテーマ毎に入賞者３－４名が選ばれ、アーティストから作品を授与されます。皆の作品はアートの授業が縮小されたとは思えないとてもすばらしいものでした！　ワーツ小学校のみんな、すごいぞ！参加アーティスト：リッチ・ジェイコブス、ティム・カー、アルバート・レイズ、ユウスケ・ハナイ、シェパード・フェアリー、コウジ・トヨダ、トーマス・キャンベル、セイタク・タク・アオヤマ
